Scope of Assignment Social media has become a platform for society to make us feel relevant in the world. It has become a place were people are marketing at time an artifical life style where they make there insecurities perfection through the use of photofilters. We have been task as a class to make an artifical mask to unatheticate the real world. The Process For the photos that I have chosen, I decided to go abstract in my filters by playing with the use of three adjustments, brightness/contrast, exposure/gamma correction, and the one that to the photo to extreme, threshold. When I first clicked on the threshold tool I was taken back by the drastic change of the photo. I set the filter to be 98, as well as the exposure be -0.17, gamma correction -0.91, brightness to be -21, and contrast -1. These photo filters may show a lie but they can also create and enhance an image of art. Photos

Who Am I? Where I am at Hello! My name is Emily Anderson. I am a first year student here at High Point. I am currently majoring in Event Management in hopes to be working for a cooperation planning their events around the world. I currently work at the Starbucks in the Slane student center as well has being a member of Alpha Chi Omega and the event management club. Four Kinds of Audio Throughout my life I never took it upon myself to listen to a podcast of any type. I have been more focused on listening to music that just plays a three-minuet story in my mind or watching Netflix that plays the story in front of me. While being tasked with listening to an hour-long conversation being others became very daunting to me. However, after looking over the directions of this assignment I became more aware and at ease of the things I need to accomplish. Listening to the podcast I stared to become more and more aware of the four kinds of audio listed by Casey Frechette's article. This podcast was predominately focused on a lady from Canada research. She showcased interview clips between her and multiple people she came into contact with who had stories to share in regard to apologizing.
