Who Am I?

Where I am at

Hello! My name is Emily Anderson. I am a first year student here at High Point. I am currently majoring in Event Management in hopes to be working for a cooperation planning their events around the world. I currently work at the Starbucks in the Slane student center as well has being a member of Alpha Chi Omega and the event management club. I tend to never be just sitting around and if i were found sitting I would be working on homework. 

Where I Came From

I am from Annapolis, Maryland where we eat crabs and put old bay on all of our food. I have two loving parents who are supportive in everything I do, but will also tell when when they think something is something I am doing is wrong. I also have a brother who is three years younger then I am and our relationship is your typical brother and sister relationship. We can fight till the cows come home but I would do anything for him. In addition, our family recently added to our family with a nine week old puppy. She is currently two right now and couldn't be a better addition to our family. My childhood was spent mostly either at an ice skating rink or in a theater. I have been figure skating since I was in fourth grade where I began to acquire a passion for the sport. However in college, this passion has been pushed to the back burner so I can focus on my future.

Where I Want to Be

The long term future I see for my self is being a reliable person who gets there tasks done and on time. Someone who is accomplished enough and happy enough where I don't need to rely another person for support. For my short term future I plan on maintaining a competitive GPA and hopefully working my way on to the executive board of my sorority or becoming president of the event management club.
