FORUM ASSIGNMENT #2: Instagrammish

Scope of Assignment
Social media has become a platform for society to make us feel relevant in the world. It has become a place were people are marketing at time an artifical life style where they make there insecurities perfection through the use of photofilters. We have been task as a class to make an artifical mask to unatheticate the real world.

The Process
For the photos that I have chosen, I decided to go abstract in my filters by playing with the use of three adjustments, brightness/contrast, exposure/gamma correction, and the one that to the photo to extreme, threshold. When I first clicked on the threshold tool I was taken back by the drastic change of the photo. I set the filter to be 98, as well as the exposure be -0.17, gamma correction -0.91, brightness to be -21, and contrast -1. These photo filters may show a lie but they can also create and enhance an image of art.
