Compositions
Magazine
For my magazine I plan on focusing it around Mrs. Susan the lady that works at Starbucks each morning in Slane. I as well work here and feel as though students do get the pleaser of knowing the people behind the counter. She is the most amazing lady there is to know and after this magazine I hope you get to know her a little better.
Lines:
As I came across this project in my agenda book, I was sitting in the library at a computer when I was looking around for trying to find inspiration for the photos that I was going to take. I looked around and all I could see was rows and rows of books forming in many lines. In this picture I like how the books take up the whole space. How there is nothing to distract you from the main focus of the lines.
Angles:
I was sitting at the computer when I noticed that I had only seen things on a table from up above. So I thought our normal sight view doesn't view things from the side only from the top. I positioned the camera to the table height and shot the image.
Symmetry:
While I was walking around the library I noticed how close to perfect this section of the library was. I saw and remembered in the reading
14 Composition Techniques that Will Instantly Improve Your Photos , to not try to be perfect. There isn't an extra book self of the right side or another picture hanging either. However, I do think it demonstrates symmetry well with the windows, lamps, and tables.
Rule of Thirds:

I thought this image represented rule of thirds well by dividing the hear buds, USB, and the other inserts. I like there are distinct three items beings used in the image. I will say going about this composition I was kinda apprehensive because I don't fully understand it so I hope I did it right!
Negative Space:
For this image I thought classify it has negative space because there is a focal point on a small object that isn't taken as a close up. I agree with the reading 14 Composition Techniques that Will Instantly Improve Your Photos that it makes what you want to focus on more dramatic. Allowing the negative space to let it breath and sit within the space around it makes for the object to look that much more dramatic.
