Beginning While editing my video to include a title page and transition animation, I had a very difficult time trying to figure out how to include then. First i didn't know where to even begin adding them so i went to the readings list given to us. I watched create and edit titles and quick transition effects. I thought this video was easy to understand showing that you needed to select the graphic tab and then drag the appropriate title page that you wanted. Next, I clicked on the effects tool to add a twirl edit to my name which gave a little more substance then just it popping up. Transitions I thought the video on quick transition effects was really useful when helping me put in the transitions. I kept with one transition when flowing from one picture to the next but when I was going from one idea to the next I used the turn page transition. Today Title So today I starting my work from scratch. Not having any pictures, text, or layout, but by the end of the day I managed to accomplish this. I first was sitting trying to come up with a title that would resinate to the reader but also be coherent to the subject of Mrs. Susan a lady that work at the Starbucks in Slane. I came across some ideas but is wasn't until I thought of what is the one thing that she says to everyone that orders a drink, "Magic or Dining?" Layout Trying to plan my layout was kind of tricky knowing I didn't have any pictures or information to put into it. So not knowing what orientation the photos would be in or what i was even going to write about was confusing when trying to map it out. What I came up with is a really rough draft and I plan on making adjustments as i move forward.
Forum 6: Swatchy Schemey
First After reading the instructions on black board, I began to research photos that resebled a well put together color sceam. The photo that I found really stood out to me and the vibe i was going for. I liked the different hues of pink, blue, and yellow. I saved the photo as a .jpg and went from there. Next I opened the InDesign program and used the default settings. However, I changed the units of measurements from picas to inches as well as added another page. I opened the photo into the document, double clicked the photo once it was in the document to resize the image. After, I did this I clicked on the rectangle tool on the left for me to draw my boxes. Once I clicked and dragged to a ruff size of a square, I clicked the selection tool, double clicked the outline of the box and set it to the size I wanted. In class we started to work with Adobe Premier which I found to be supper fun, I liked being able to put picture to sound and this is something that I've been waiting to do for a while. First I uploaded my audio by double clicking the lower left box and clicking my audio. Then I looked up photos that would go along with my audio. I downloaded those off the internet then uploaded them through the lower left hand box. I dragged the appropriate images to the spots where I wanted to place them in the Multitrack to help illustrate the audio track. Next, I searched "cars driving" and clicked on the video tab in Google. Then I downloaded the one I wanted to my hard drive and uploaded it to Premier through the lower left box. From there I placed and cut how long I wanted the B-role the run for. Finally I exported the video as a .MPEG and uploaded it through YouTube. I hope you enjoy!

Magazine For my magazine I plan on focusing it around Mrs. Susan the lady that works at Starbucks each morning in Slane. I as well work here and feel as though students do get the pleaser of knowing the people behind the counter. She is the most amazing lady there is to know and after this magazine I hope you get to know her a little better. Lines: As I came across this project in my agenda book, I was sitting in the library at a computer when I was looking around for trying to find inspiration for the photos that I was going to take. I looked around and all I could see was rows and rows of books forming in many lines. In this picture I like how the books take up the whole space. How there is nothing to distract you from the main focus of the lines. Angles: I was sitting at the computer when I noticed that I had only seen things on a table from up above.
