Out of all of the tools and techniques that were associated with the readings/videos I choose to utilize the selective focus tool to blur my background and focus on other predominate objects in my poster. Like Brian says, your eyes are naturally drawn to the center object in your photo. In my photo the center object (the moon) is not hat i want the main focus to be. I want it to be on the mermaid and Roberts hall. So as Brian instructed in the video I went to the filters tab in the top, then blur gallery, then iris blur. I made selections on Roberts hall, the mermaid, airplane, and the title. I then hit the shift key to independently the blur to the selected object. From this I created a slight blur because for each object I selected I turned down the intensity of the blur using the dial in the middle.
